A Path Forward for New Mexico’s Energy
Northeastern New Mexico boasts some of the strongest wind and solar energy potential in the nation. Under a public-private partnership agreement with New Mexico Renewable Energy Transmission Authority (RETA), Invenergy Transmission will develop New Mexico North Path, to unlock in-state energy sources. North Path is a direct current (DC) transmission line that will deliver up to 4,000 megawatts of clean domestically produced energy from northeastern New Mexico to the Four Corners region, helping power New Mexico and other western states.
“The New Mexico North Path project will benefit our state for decades to come by opening access to some of our best domestic renewable energy resources, and the New Mexico Renewable Energy Transmission Authority is pleased to play a role in advancing this opportunity. Invenergy Transmission has a strong track record and is committed to doing things the right way, which they have shown from the very beginning of their work in New Mexico and we know that will continue into the future.”

Partnering with New Mexico
Our company recognizes and appreciates all of the first responders, local governments and non-profit organizations that have been working to provide emergency shelter, food and water distribution, and access to medical support as wildfires have impacted communities locally and across the state. Community investment is a core value of Invenergy Transmission, and we recently made a $25,000 contribution to the All Together NM Fund to support relief efforts for wildfires impacting northern New Mexico communities.
